My Budget Amendments
These budget amendments would have helped fund my proposed legislation and additional initiatives like those in bold below. Our budgets are documents about our values and priorities. Funding for our young people's mental health, eliminating food deserts, helping students with disabilities, assisting gun violence survivors, and investing in community STEM programs would have been crucial. We are still fighting for these priorities. Stay tuned as we continue to discuss the budget in Special Session.
